New Swiss Destination from Orbx Incoming

Orbx has announced a Swiss Alpine destination, Samedan, is in the works for FSX and Prepar3D.

Developed by Andreas Hegi, Samedan is a challenging destination in the Swiss Alps and a popular ski resort during the winter season. It is situated in the heart of the Engadin valley and is frequented by unsettled winds, low-visibility and turbulence. This unique blend of high-altitude, scenic mountains and a challenging approach means that Samedan Airport is the perfect get-away from the usual busy international airports for those looking for something more exciting.

The surrounding area features scenic mountains with glaciers, lakes, rivers and thousands of hand-placed autogen trees and buildings such as custom hotels, churches and the villages of Samedan and St. Moritz. Other highlights include seasonal variations and a bonus helipad – Hospital Oberengadin.

The package will be compatible with Orbx Global, OpenLC Europe and Vector. No release date has been announced yet.
