London City Airport for Prepar3D on the way

Orbx has announced EGLC London City Airport for Prepar3D version 4 is currently in development.

Located close to Canary Wharf and the financial heart of the city, EGLC is one of the last remaining inner-city airports. The challenging 5.5° approach over the centre of London coupled with a short runway and congested airspace requires special crew certification. It serves destinations across the UK, Europe, and until recently, New York via Shannon and is host to airline and corporate aircraft including the Airbus A318.

Developed by Turbulent Design, the package from Orbx is the first complete PBR airport for Prepar3D version 4 and including advanced features such as material scripting. Dynamic ground textures react to rain and other adverse conditions. It blends seamlessly with TrueEarth Great Britain South, and coverage includes notable landmarks such as the Tate & Lyle Sugar Factory and ExCeL Exhibition centre. The airport also works with Global Base or Orbx EU England.
