East Midlands Airport for X-Plane Out Now

Orbx has announced EGNX East Midlands Airport for X-Plane 11 is released.

EGNX has been recreated in detail with high-resolution buildings and PBR effects throughout. The interiors of the tower and terminal have been modelled with reflective and transparent windows. Other highlights include dense 3D grass throughout the airport and HDR night lighting.

The surrounding area features several POIs including the Royal Air Force museum to the north-east of the runway, an animated firefighter truck and a local race track.

Animations include service vehicles, airport shuttle buses, wind turbines and smoke from chimneys, which reacts to wind speed and direction. Static aircraft with accurate liveries are placed throughout the airport: DHL, Flybe, Thomas Cook, Jet2 and Ryanair.

Finally, the airport comes with custom ortho ground polygons at a resolution of 25cm/pixel, which blends seamlessly with TrueEarth GB South.

The package is available to purchase from OrbxDirect for AUD$32.95 (approx. $22.95/€20.50/£18.20).
