London City Airport for X-Plane 11 Incoming

Orbx has officially announced EGLC London City Airport for X-Plane 11 is in development. The package was first revealed at FlightSimExpo in Orlando.

EGLC is the first full PBR product from Orbx, featuring HD textures throughout and PBR ground polygons with dry, damp and wet states. New highly detailed PBR ground service equipment and clutter is included along with realistic road traffic.

Other highlights include the Excel building, Tate and Lyle Sugar factory and all surrounding high-rise buildings. Dynamic fire and rescue response has also been modelled – fire services will respond when an aircraft emergency is declared on approach. Fire trucks will deploy to your aircraft position once on the ground.

Features:

  • 60cm ortho imagery blended to match TrueEarth GB South
  • Realistic approach and airport lighting
  • All new PBR static aircraft models.

A version for Prepar3D version 4 will be released at a later date.

EGLC London City Airport will soon be available to purchase from OrbxDirect for AUD$32.95 (approx. $22.95/€20.50/£18.20).
