The Cessna 140 by Aeroplane Heaven is now available.
Following World War Two, Cessna moved into the general aviation market by launching the 120 and 140 variants. The move set Cessna firmly on the path of general aviation for which it is well known today. The Cessna 140 differs from the 120 in several key areas. It was fitted with a larger and more powerful engine along with an improved undercarriage to overcome the 120’s tendency to nose over on heavy braking. What transpired was a very well mannered, easy to fly aircraft that was to be the precursor to some of the most widely used general aviation aircraft today.
The package from Aeroplane Heaven is accurately modelled in high-fidelity with details such as fully animated rudder control system, aileron and elevator. The cockpit comes with a ‘secret’ modern navigation suite for IFR navigation. It comes with an animated pilot and co-pilot, an authentic stereo sound pack. Seven authentic paint schemes are also included along with a paint kit for creating custom liveries.
The Cessna 140 bundle is compatible with all FSX and Prepar3D platforms. The following three packs are available to purchase:
- FSX and P3DV3 and P3DV4 (non PBR) -$27.95 (approx. £22/€25)
- P3DV4.4 and P3DV4.5 (PBR) – $27.95 (approx. £22/€25)
- A special bundle for all above simulators – $34.95 (approx. £27/€31).
Please note, Prepar3D version 4.4 or above is required for PBR.
