TrueEarth GB North for X-Plane


Orbx has announced TrueEarth Great Britain North for X-Plane 11 is out now.

The area features 40,415 sq mi of hand-corrected colour-matched imagery covering the entire central region. Of particular note are metropolitan areas such as Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Areas such as the Scottish Highland, the beautiful Lochs, Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Islands have been faithfully recreated along with many notable castles, ancient bridges, monuments and ruins. Hand-placed custom VFR landmarks are placed throughout the scenery, including masts, wind farms, churches, power lines, and lighthouses.

Also included is a model of the Isle of Man with more than 50 custom 3D models, which will further be enhanced by a separate scenery, including the airport, from Orbx later this year.

Please note, there is currently not a version of FTX Central available for Linux or macOS, you will see a cross-platform download option in your account. This is a simple zip file that can be extracted into X-Plane 11 until FTX Central is available for those other platforms.
