Stapleford Airfield Released

The latest airport to be released by Orbx is EGSG Stapleford for X-Plane 11.

Developed by Russ White’s, the airport has been recreated from on-site photography and features accurate buildings along with custom autogen and AI traffic. It consists of  11cm per pixel ground textures at the airport with the surrounding countryside modelled with textures at 30cm per pixel.

EGSG is now available to purchase from OrbxDirect for AUD$24.95 (approx. USD $17.78 / €15.59 / £13.97).

Customers who won EGSG for FSX and Prepar3D will receive a 40% discount for the X-Plane version.

Please also note that for the best experience, Orbx recommends using EGSG in conjunction with TrueEarth Great Britain South. The scenery will work without it, however some users may experience the following:

  • Missing or misplaced forests
  • Missing or misplaced buildings surrounding the airport
  • Photoreal blending
