Carenado FA50 EX Released

 

Chilean developer, Carenado has announced the FA50 EX is now available for FSX and Prepar3D.

Based on the Dassault Falcon 50, the package features six HD liveries along with a blank template for creating custom paint jobs.

The interior features new material reflections while the flight deck comes with realistic night lighting effects, an improved Proline 21 avionics and an authentic autopilot. AIRAC cycle 1601 (January 2016) is included, although the navigation data can be updated with an active Navigraph subscription.

A control panel can be used for setting various options including window transparency, instrument reflections and ground equipment such as wheel chocks and engine covers. It is also possible to set a cold and dark start option for realistic start-up and shutdown procedures.

Animations include take-off run and landing rolling movement effect, custom braking sounds, wing flex and an option to toggle winglets on or off.

Other highlights include a custom sound set based on real Falcon 50 engine sounds, aural warnings and switch sounds. The aircraft is also VR (Virtual Reality) compatible.
