Accu-sim P-40 for Prepar3D

A2A Simulations has released the Accu-sim P-40 for Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3D v4 platform.

Five different variants are included, the P-40B, P-40C, AVG model, RAF Tomahawk, and Russian Tomahawk. As with every A2A aircraft, the P-40 has been built, inside and out, down to the last rivet and is designed and built to be flown by the book.

The Prepar3D version introduces several new features such as a ‘true propeller simulation’ for the Curtiss multi-position and constant speed electric propellers, dynamic 3D lighting and physics-based rain on the canopy.

Other highlights include custom cockpit systems and Pure3D gauges providing smooth and natural 3D instrumentation. The aircraft also comes with an accurately modelled Allison powerplant and supercharger along with a realistic fuel, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Please note this product is for Prepar3D version 4 only and not for previous versions of the Lockheed Prepar3D simulation platform.

Rain for Everyone
A2A also announced it will be releasing a free rain physics engine for all developers to use in their projects, both freeware or payware. The company is creating a simple SDK for adding this effect to Prepar3D version4 projects. A2A will post an update when the SDK is ready to download from the A2A store.
