VSKYLABS has released version v5.0b1 of the Tecnam P2006T.
The new version features improvements to the 3D model, refined glass objects and reworked cockpit textures. In addition, built-in support for the freeware AviTab plug-in has been added for displaying moving maps and PDF charts in VR.
The VSKYLABS Tecnam P2006T is designed exclusively for X-Plane 11. It comes with two variants: one with an analogue cockpit featuring the GNS G530 and 430; and a G1000 version with an integrated autopilot. Other highlights include FMOD sounds and VR (Virtual Reality) compatibility. The project is under under constant development with new features constantly being added. All updates are free.

The Real Tecnam P2006T
The Italian-built Tecnam P2006T is the lightest certified twin-engine aircraft available. With four-seats, it features fully retractable landing gear and liquid-cooled Rotax 912 power plants. It made its maiden flight on September 13, 2007 and was certified by EASA on the June 5 two years later. NASA’s all electric X-57 Maxwell prototype aircraft is being developed using a P2006T airframe.
