The latest X-Plane destination from Aerosoft is Airport Friedrichshafen XP.
Initially designed as part of the German Airports series by Peter Hiermeie, Friedrichshafen was initially released for FSX in 2012 and updated for Prepar3D version 4 in August last year. It has now been converted to X-Plane 11 by Kevin Barton and has been updated to represent the current state of the real airport including all buildings and facilities. In addition, the runway and taxiway layout has been accurately replicated along with revised navaids. Other highlights include photographic ground textures and objects such as an animated tanker, a 3D model of the Zeppelin airship and static aircraft.
X-Plane-specific features have also been included such as realistic night lighting and it has been optimised for maximum performance. A manual in English and German is also available.
Airport Friedrichshafen XP is available as a download on the Aerosoft website for €18.10.
