Simcoders have released the Reality Expansion Pack for the Carenado F33A Bonanza for X-Plane 11.
The package features native virtual reality support, a custom engine model along with highly realistic flight and ground dynamics. This includes realistic stall speeds and behaviour, accurate performance envelope and weight and balance.
Other highlights include a custom failure system and maintenance report, proprietary 3D sounds engine. It also comes with walkaround and pre-flight checks, interactive kneeboard and in-flight tips that tell you if something is wrong with the aircraft.
Note: The Bonanza F33A XP11 by Carenado is required for this add-on. It will not work on other aircraft. More information is available over on x-plane.org
What is Reality Expansion
The Reality Expansion Packs (REP) does in X‑Plane what A2A did to FSX and Prepar3D. Developed by SimCoders, it is tailored to specific aircraft, replacing internal parts of the simulator with custom modules to enhance realism. For example, it enhances the flight and ground dynamics, the default piston engine model, electrical system, landing gear and many other aspects of the aircraft. New components are added such real-world physics, new stereo sounds and extra 3D elements.
It also provides a damages system, a maintenance hangar and the interactive ground checks. It is currently available for the following aircraft:
• Default X-Plane 11 Cessna 172SP
• Carenado Cessna T210M Centurion
• Carenado Beechcraft Bonanza F33A
• Carenado Beechcraft Bonanza V35B
• Carenado Beechcraft Baron B58
