The September/October issue of PC Pilot magazine is OUT NOW

The new September/October issue of PC Pilot has finally touched down, and as always it is loaded with exciting news, reviews, features and tutorials!
The star of this issue, and featured on this month’s cover is a review of Prepar3D Version 4 from Lockheed Martin.

We also review the 717 from TFDi Design, Alabeo’s C310R, MilViz’ DHC-2 Beaver, Aerosoft’s English Electric Lighting T5, DCS: Normandy 1944 Map and WWII Assets Pack.

Other highlights include a new airliner tutorial, starting with an overview of the flight deck; Jessica Bannister-Pearce continues her quest to build an Airbus A320 cockpit and Peter Stark shows us how to set up an aircraft for a perfect landing.

You can join us on a flight adventure to the ‘Apple Isle’ to glimpse the extraordinary diversity of Tasmania; our Challenging Airports series continues with a trip to the frozen fjords of Norway; and we interview a Fly Virtual whose motto is: “Any Aircraft, Any Airline, Any Route, Any Time… No B.S.”.

On the technical front, we offer advice on topics such as how to configure the joystick null the zone and sensitivity, set up the scenery library in X-Plane 11, and explain ICAO codes, while on the hardware side, Jessica walks us through the process of upgrading our PCs.

If that was not enough, on this month’s online section features several videos; Lockheed Martins’ Prepar3D Version 4, DCS: Normandy 1944 Map and Assets Pack, MilViz DHC-2 Beaver, Dovetail Games Flight Sim World, Alabeo C310R and FTX Innsbruck for Aerofly FS2; plus, we have eight freeware files: comprising a selection of airports and aircraft.

So, whatever you’re into, there’s something in this issue for you.
