With only 46 days to go before this year’s event, we thought it was high time we updated you on the latest show news.
Back for its fifth year, the show will be the biggest and best yet and we’re looking forward to seeing you in seven weeks’ time! All the information you might need about the show can be found on the Flight Sim 2017 website and you can get in touch with us via the website, Facebook or Twitter if you have any questions.
Discussions and presentations
The schedule of discussions and presentations in the auditorium has now been finalised:
10am – 10.30am: Remex Software
The Remex team will be unveiling a completely new flight sim platform!
11am – 12pm: Laminar Research
Marty Arant or Philipp Muenzel will be showing off the latest developments in X-Plane 11.
12.30pm – 1.30pm: FSFX Packages
A presentation from the FSFX team about ChasePlane and other current projects.
2pm – 3pm: X-Plane Dedicated
Wycliffe Barrett will be bringing together a group of X-Plane developers and media personalities to discuss X-Plane 11 with the audience in an open forum.
3.30pm – 4.30pm: Dovetail Games
Get all the latest information on the Flight Sim World sim and put your questions to the Dovetail Games crew.
Almost 30 software, hardware and community exhibitors have now confirmed that they will be at the show. We are delighted that QualityWings and GoFlight will be joining us and among the others who have recently confirmed their attendance are VATSIM, Midland Computers, FSElite and MODsim – see the Flight Sim 2017 website for the full list!
Advance tickets still available
Advance tickets (£8 for adults) are still on sale and there will be a free Goodie Bag on the day of the show for all advance ticket holders. Entry to the show is free for Under-16s accompanied by an adult.
You’re very welcome to just turn up on the day – admission will be £10 on the door.
Everyone coming to the show can, of course, take a look around the many stunning exhibits at the RAF Museum during the day. With over 70 aircraft on display, both virtual and real-world aviation enthusiasts will have plenty to enjoy!
