The annual aviation and flight simulation conference FlightSimCon 2015 will take place at the New England Air Museum near Hartford, Connecticut on June 13-14.
For existing flight simulation enthusiasts, the conference is a chance to interact with vendors, attend seminars on improving simulator performance and speak with flight simulation personalities. FlightSimCon also introduces pilots to the world of flight simulation with interactive how-to seminars on setting up a first flight simulator.
The 2015 conference will host more than 20 exhibitors, including developers A2A Simulations, Aerosoft, Dovetail Games, GoFlight, FSFX Packages, Jetline Systems, and many more. Flight simulation communities such as Boston Virtual ATC, IVAO, and VATSIM will also be attending the event.
FlightSimCon is proud to have an exciting list of speakers with more than ten seminars and presentations scheduled, including a panel discussion focused on the future of at-home flight simulation. The 7-speaker panel will include some of the largest names in flight simulation, including Winfried Diekmann (CEO, Aerosoft), Nels Anderson (Founder, FlightSim.Com), and Peter Wright (Frooglesim). Other speakers at the event include recreational and professional pilots, flight instructors, ‘sim-pit’ builders, and developers.
“I was surprised by the structure and extent of activities at the conference,” said Stephen Ablonczy, first-time attendee of FlightSimCon. “With interesting speakers, cool exhibitors, and lots of opportunity to try out different simulators and add-ons, there was always something to do!”
